EWB-UIC, John Caruso PE, and Mark Emory PE from Christopher B. Burke
Engineering, Ltd. will be taking a small trip to the Algonquin Water
Treatment plants this Friday. We will examine a chlorine injection
system similar, although on a larger scale, to one potentially being
installed this May in Cerro Alto.

Details are still being worked out but we will be leaving UIC around
10:00-10:30 AM, take the Blue Line to CBBEL where we will get a ride
to Algonquin. Or you can drive straight from UIC if you want. If you
are interested in helping with the technical aspect of our water
treatment project or even in how ground water supplied municipalities
treat their water then you should attend.
So far 5 people are going including myself. Let me know if you're
interested as soon as possible,
See you there!
