Guest Speaker on Monday: Dean Brandt-Rauf, School of Public Health

On MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17th at 12:00 in 1043 ERF, Engineers Without Borders will be having a guest speaker. Paul Brandt-Rauf, Dr.P.H, M.D., Sc.D., the new Dean of the School of Public Heath, will be speaking about his experiences with Engineers Without Borders. He has spoken at EWB international conferences in the past and has emphasized the importance of approaching EWB projects from many perspectives. He is a fantastic speaker and his presentation should not be missed!

This is also a great opportunity to catch up with EWB-UIC and learn about our last trip to Cerro Alto, Guatemala.

After the presentations we will have informal discussions with members on how you or your group can work with EWB-UIC. Whether it be through a senior design project designing solar panels or undergraduate research working on designs to deal with rampant garbage, come learn how you can be a part of developing low-cost sustainable solutions for Cerro Alto and villages all around Guatemala.
