MISSION
Engineers Without Borders-USA is a non-profit organization striving towards a positive change in the developing world. The objective of the chapter's activities is to design and implement new projects in developing countries concerning energy generation, safe water, public health, long-distance communications and sustainable agriculture. The student chapter of EWB-USA at UIC aims to bring together UIC students, local engineers, and communities in the less developed countries on collaborative projects.

EWB-UIC welcomes our new Fundrasing Chair, Peter Tek and our new Webmaster, Kevin Oakes.

EWB was recently recognized by the University of Illinois Board of Trustees and commended with a special Resolution for our work in Cerro Alto. Congratulations EWB-UIC!
